I THOUGHT WITH THE 9/11 AND OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN HARMS WAY
THIS POEM IS SO IMPORTANT TO READ AND REFLECT AND PRAY.
IT IS WRITTEN BY A GENTLEMEN THAT LIVES IN ONE OF THE NEARBY APARTMENTS.
I AM JUST WRITING IT DOWN BECAUSE I REALLY LIKED IT.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IT IS CALLED

THIS IS THE COL'S WORDS:
"THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO GAVE THERE LIVES
IN DEFENDING THIS COUNTRY.
NO ONE HAS EVER GIVEN MORE",
COL JOHN DENNEY, U.S.ARMY RETIRED
"OLD GLORY"
"OLD GLORY"
I was born in the fight for freedom,
With thirteen stripes and stars.
And I flown in the firey crucible,
Of many long and brutal wars.
My friends call me "Old Glory,"
My foes call me a rag.
But I fly with pride and passion,
For I am the American flag.
I was there with Gen. Harrison,
Whose force was brave but few.
But they defeated Tecumseh's army,
At the battle of Tippecanoe.
I flew with the Fighting Seventh,
When they met their mortal fate.
And they died with their boots on,
Where the Little Big Horn flows.
I was there in the muddy trenches,
When the Civil War began.
Where they fought with savage fury,
When war raged through the land.
I flew at bloody Shiloh,
And the streets of Vicksburg town.
I was there with the Union Army,
When they drove Old Dixie down.
I went westward with the wagons,
As they trekked across the plains.
Through the Colorado Mountains,
Braving snow and winds and rains.
They passed a multitude of graves,
Of those who had gone before.
But they went on, never knowing,
What the future had in store.
I have flown in steamy jungles,
And lands of ice and snow.
Where they fought on lofty mountains,
Where eagles dared to go.
I dropped with "the Band of Brothers",
Who were known as "America's Best".
They drifted down in murky light,
Clutching their grisly tools of death.
I was there on D-Day morning,
When many thousands died.
When it seemed the molton fires of Hell,
Came in with the morning tide.
I flew high on Iwo Jima,
In the war's most touching scene.
And I returned with Doug. MacAruthur,
To the shores of the Phillippines.
I grieve for fallen comrades,
Who died to keep us free.
They lie in graves around the world,
And the bottom of the sea.
Oh departed brothers! heed my plea,
Rest peaceful in your grave.
For you'll know the thrill of victory,
When they resurrect the Brave.
When the wars on earth have ended,
And the final battle won.
You'll rise to a land of Glory,
Far beyond the setting sun.
Your earthly friends will greet you,
In a Land that's free from sin.
And they'll sing "God Bless America",
When the Yanks go marching in.

I STARTED TO LAUGH AND TOLD HER YOU KNOW YOU ARE STILL SO YOUNG, YOUR GRANDMA IS 90 YEARS OLD!! 
WELL SHE WAS STILL UNHAPPY WITH ME. SHE WILL GET OVER IT, I AM JUST GLAD I AM NOT HER HUSBAND!
