TO OUR VETERANS, I AM SO SORRY. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR FORGETTING TO POST ON PEARL HARBOR AND WHAT HAPPEN THERE. THE MANY LIVES THAT WERE CHANGED AND LOST ON THAT FAITHFUL DAY. I really didn't forget I was honoring your fellow men and women by watching a show on Pearl on TV.
I will never forget you and thank you for all you have done for your country. This applies to all our veterans. The ones who suffered though Viet Nam and the ones right now over in Iran and other parts of the middle east. We owe them a Large THANK YOU FOR TRYING. I am angry that we are still over there and that they have lost so Many good men and women to this dame war. I want to bring our troops home now and reunited them with their family. We are learning that one BILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF GUNS AND BOMBS ARE MISSING!!! This is not the first time this has happen! What in the hell is going on here that so much is missing and no one knows nothing? Bush should be made to repay the American people back for the lost of money because something smells like payoff to me! Are these lost weapons going to be used against our troops next? Were are the 100 billion being spent?
We need to remove the bozo's that are in charge and put some one who is HONEST if you can find such a person in Washington.
I think the American people are so sick of what is going on right now and I don't think that a woman who can't keep CREEPS out of a School she built and showed off to the world is the right person to listen to when choosing a canidate for the most powerful office in the world.
I for one will make up my one mind and not listen to a TV star or anyone else. I will try and sort through all the BULLSHIT that is flying at the TV Interviews of the these men and women
I would love to hear a Question relating to folks like you and me such as:
1- The cost of raising a family has risen and is still rising
so that both parents are having to work just to make ends meet and sometimes leaving their kids alone in their home
what are your plans to improve the poor folks out there trying to live on poverty or below poverty wages?

2- Most folks can't afford to buy a newer car and are driving a old one just to get them to work. with the cost of gas going out of this world and profits of the oil companies out of sight what are your plans to see that the people that are the ones shafted by this high cost be repaid?
3- there is so much government waste, but it seems to me the programs that help folks try to make it are being stopped I know of a family who lives in government housing and makes 7.25 a hour
his rent is based on income, but they do not allow the deduction of
the cost of gas, tax, insurance, and he has a new baby so the cost of the child and he is hurting very badly because he does not see himself able to climb out of this.
how will you help him and other families like him?
4- The older folks in this nation seem to have picked up the cost of this war. I have a friend who is disabled and she received a 14.00
raise. this is the lowest in the history of S.S.--S.S.I
and yet food prices are up
rents are up
gas prices are out of sight
the cost of heat is up
the cost of every thing is rising and yet we received a 14.00 raise?
This is the Question I hear were I go.
I would like to see some of them folks in Washington live on a retirement check or SS. S.S.I. FOR A MONTH without their bank accounts and cars and fancy offices w/sect. Just live like the ones they voted to raise just 14.00 and see how they make ends meet.
I would also like to stop paying their big hospital plans and allowing them to get gas at discount prices.
Just let them live like the rest of us for one Month
ah Well I guess that is a dream that will never happen

Remember to make up your own mind and don't let anyone make your choice for you because in the end you and I will have to live with it!

We all heard of ID THEFT. well they will steal your credit cards,
your s.s. cards and any thing else they can make a buck at.

Watch the gifts you buy.
It is a sad fact that more autos get broken into and
gifts stolen from cars and trucks at this time of year.
My advice, get your most costly gift last like the new
computer,tv ect. do not leave them in your car or truck
because this is what they look for. and your Christmas
won't be merry at all if you lose your gifts.

Watch your child!...This is the time most kidnappings will
happen when stores are busy and crowed.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD ALONE! The creeps are out there also

DANGER..WARNING ABOUT CRUISE CONTROL DRIVING IN WET OR ICY WEATHER THE FOLLOWING IS NO LAUGHING MATTER BUT SO IMPORTANT THAT I AM GOING TO POST IT ON 4 OF MY BLOGS.

Lifesaving Information A Lot Of People Aren't Told

I got this in an e-mail and I never knew this before.
I wonder just how many people do know about this.

~ A 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago and totaled her car. A resident of Kilgore, Texas she was traveling between Gladewater & Kilgore. It was raining, though not excessively, when her car suddenly began to hydro-plane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence!

When she explained to the highway patrolman what had happened he told her something that every driver should know - NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON. She thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain.

But the highway patrolman told her that if the cruise control is on when your car begins to hydro-plane and your tires lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off like an airplane. She told the patrolman that was exactly what had occurred.

The patrolman said this warning should be listed, on the driver's seat sun-visor - NEVER USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY, along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.

The only person the accident victim found, who knew this (besides the patrolman), was a man who had had a similar accident, totaled his car and sustained severe injuries.

NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control when the windshield wipers are on.
This is important information. Like I said, I didn't know about this.....do you?

TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM.
WHEN JAPAN DROPPED THEIR BOMBS ON US
THE FOLKS, NURSES, DOCTORS,
ECT THAT WENT TO WAR.
LET US NOT FORGET THE WOMEN WHO TOOK OVER THE
SHIP YARDS AND THE WELDING DUTIES AND ALSO FLEW
PLANES WITHOUT GUNS INTO THE BATTLEGROUND.
WE WILL LAY FLOWERS AT THE TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN
IN THEIR MEMORY.
AND SO AS WE GET CLOSER TO THANKSGIVING
AND WE SIT DOWN WITH OUR THANKSGIVING HAM OR TURKEY
SAY A PRAYER FOR ALL THOSE FOLKS WHO DIED SO YOU
CAN HAVE THE FREEDOMS THAT YOU HAVE.
ALTHOUGH I MIGHT NOT AGREE WITH WHAT
IS GOING ON AND I WOULD LIKE OUR MEN AND WOMEN TO COME

FALL IS HERE AND SO ARE THE DANGERS OF FIRE!
Well summer is gone and fall is here! My heart goes out to the folks who are suffering in Calif. Many folks have lost their homes and belongings. President Bush is going to "visit" What a bunch of bull; they don't need him to visit and create more problems. He needs to get on the ball and get them some help to put out these fires and help rebuild!
All our prayers are with you folks down there.

Thank God it has started to rain here in the south. We have had very
dry conditions for a long time. It has rained
the last few days and the weather here has dropped to the lower 60s and
50's days to the mid 40s at night. I am afraid we will have a very rough
winter.
.
Here are some very important rules for keeping safe this winter:
.
Before you start your fireplace up, check your flutes and shafts
and have it swept out when needed.
.
Change all filters in your heaters and save money!
.
Check all fire alarms make sure they work, replace any bad ones.
.
In case of a fire, map out your escape route and have
a meeting point where everyone will meet to insure all
are safe, you can replace things but not life!
.
Most of all Be safe and have a great holiday with your children
and family
